African Pioneers Primary Co-operative was established to address the dire need to support Co-operatives, in particular CFIs. Our primary objectives are to assist in establishing and providing support to the emerging market of Co-operative Financial Institutions (CFI’s) and Co-Operative Banks (CB’S). African Pioneers has a clear mandate to pioneer this industry in the South African financial landscape bring rural and unbanked communities into the formal market, driving financial inclusion.
Until now we have serviced independent businesses that have operations in the regions of Gauteng, Kwa Zulu-Natal and Eastern Cape, with the aim of playing a fundamental role in their development and sustainability. These include Isikhungo Sabantu and CoSanCom.
We want to establish the causal relationship between everyday consumers who are eager to know what CFI’s and CB’S’s can do in advancing their most basic needs.
The purpose of this document is to establish how CFI’s could become more beneficial to the lives of South African’s. We aim to create awareness and educate South African on what XFI’s and CB’s are and how to engage with them. Active participation in the bid of a providing information to enhance this knowledge to an even bigger audience.
